Emery Planning have recently (on Boxing Day 2020!) submitted a full planning application on behalf of Wainhomes for residential development of 61 on homes on land at Brynards Hill.

We (everyone) have been advised to object via both the emery planning contact page (here) and the Wiltshire Council planning pages under 20/11655/FUL here

>>>Details on common objections are on the Objections guide page >>> here<<

This land was designated as a country park during the planning stages that took place before the current woodshaw meadows development began and for a great many residents was a selling point.
Immediate residents have been saddened to hear that this land could be churned up for more housing and as such are planning a co-ordinated response in terms of objection to development.

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, Emery will not be able to hold a face-to-face consultation event. Instead, they have detailed the proposed development (here) and invite comments from the local community.

Residents of wider Wootton Bassett and beyond are likewise as unhappy as immediate residents about this recent news and we have created this website to try to funnel resources into one, easy to manage and easy to access area where planning documentation, links, objection guides, comments, letter and email templates for objection can all be found together to save hours of internet scouring for everyone who would like to get involved in objecting.

Please share this site link far and wide, social media pages, word of mouth, radio spots, personal blogs, zoom meetings! …. and good old leaflet drops (more to come on how to help with this!). Every little helps.  Thank you
